I was pleasantly surprised with this straightener. When straightening the plates went through my hair like silk without any pull or drag. I also love using my straightener for creating curls and I had no dramas with this. Once again there was no drag or pulling and my curls held in place all day. I even took it with me on a recent trip to the US and the dual voltage function worked like a charm. It still produced the same intense heat I was use to using back in OZ.
